Soooooo, who is going when? Anyone camping there? Trying to figure out when I'm gonna head down and what to take with me. Hope we have good weather and a great turn out. Anyone heard from the other clubs attending?

Have not got the engine problem fix on the stick yet, and the only other option the the Aeromaster that I only have one 5-min flight on and JR busted-up trainer whick looke like it has been through WW-I and WW-II as a dron

Sometimes the planes that have been busted up are the most fun to fly!

Yes, but not many more flights left on the trainer. And it has to get through the funfly and night fly

Bob Brown yes our district 3 VP e-mail me. He say that he will be there for half a day then he is going down to Hamiton Ohio event.

We're heading down Friday morning and camping through Sunday.

OK, I think Dennis is too. Sweet. Right now I'm planning to come early Saturday and spent Sat night there and leave later Sunday afternoon. Gonna take a bat, racer, C-130 and my new 'project' if it's ready. Head we shopuld have some good demo's lines up too! Should be aterrific weekend.

What is everyone taking to fly?

Well,

JR is working Saturday, so Sunday is the only day we have And I have been down sick all week, so we will see what the weekend brings

Sorry to hear that Charles, hope you get to make it down sunday and you are feeling better by then...

We will see Michelle's car is down and a sensor on the Jeep went out yesterday. So a lot depends on what JR can get done this week till I get back on my feet.

Next will not happen next year, as it will be the weekend that JR graduates

I'll be there Sat and Sun. Not staying the night. My idea of camping out has nothing to do with being outside.

Taking a bat, maybe a racer but not to fly, probably the Giles too. Oh and the rocket glider but I haven't flown it yet soI don't know if it's a good idea to try it or not. Maybe some test gliding and go from there.

How was the turn out??? Have much wind??

Pretty good turn out. LOTS!!!! of wind on Saturday. Still there were a lot of brave souls who took to the air. I think the Miller (full throttle) Boys had the most flights and no one crashed as far as I know. Maybe with all the wind people were being more careful.

Not as much wind on Sunday morning and some great flying. Sunday afternoon got more windy but still not as bad as saturday. Lots of interesting aircraft. Rotor wing and fixed wing. Large and small. Electric, nitro, and gas (and even one rocket powered).

Quite a good representation of the whole spectrum of R/C modeling. No turbines but other than that pretty good.

The weather did hold back participation for spectators and pilots alike.

A total of 30 pilots and no crash. It was great!!!! Lots of wind on saturday but saturday night was great, bunch of electrices was out. The rocket glider was the best. Even better than Fat Albert. Bob Brown e-mail me and said he had a good time and it looks like it could be a big time show down the road with a little efford.

No turbines? Are you sure? I think Rudee had a turbine all be it electric powered and so be forth what not. To for hitherith and so to wit.

UMM I think (1) heli did try to land blades down and The RORKS boys put an electric in Saturday evening.

OK, that does it, next year rocket powered C-130!

Depending on when it's held next year, could see a couple interesting projects next year
