Got just a few lil things to do in the a.m. then it's off to the races! Yeah, CT I been watchin that same forecast channel . Oh well, I just replaced both front output shaft ujoints the other night, maybe I can try them out tomorrow?

Yep. racing has been cancelled for today.

Anticipation is better than the realization!!! One extra week to dream about racing before the planes take to the air.

Lots of new blood this year. I do mean that literally. Support the races. Support the club. I'll be nice, honest.

After hearing the weather forecast I'm in the market for a really lightweight set of floats for my racer.

Really!! Such a bummer. But thats April for ya. Just finished up a racer I got at Toledo. I had to remove a 26 size motor and add a couple of servos. Balance point is about a half of an inch behind the landing gear block. I dug up some old scat cat plans and they say it should be aprox. 1/4 in behind the gear block. Close enough.

I had a blast at the race today. Lots of racers showed up, it reminded me of the mid 1990's. A few of our fellow racers have passed on since then, but I'm sure they had a bird's eye view! Go fast turn left

I really enjoyed the whole day! And a big thank you to sli-dog, dennis and joeg for calling for me.
I am glad to have finally got the landing gear straightened out on the Viper so I could land it more than once without having to repair it!

I had a good time too........despite the sudden landing. Nice to see so many flying.

LOL, Nope, that was my black and silver Scat Kat that I flew for at least 5 seasons. It was an amazing flying plane. I got a little too close to #3 pylon and it spread itself down the field. At least it died doing what it loved best..

The pre-release problem was the predator I replaced it with. Got 4 flights on it until 'ol greasy fingers slipped up!

Not to worry though, the new Predator is flying as good os the Scat kat was and I'm really liking the way it grooves.
